SIM or eSIM for Vietnam

Planning to travel to Vietnam next month.

Physical SIM or eSIM? What works better and can be acquired easily?

Does the shops at SGN sells eSIMs?

I would recommend using a physical Sim rather than an eSIM, its super easy to acquire at the airport and at most small shop.

Are airport sellers reliable?

Was reading some experiences wherein old/used SIM was passed on..

Airport sellers are usually reliable, especially if you buy from the official store of Viettel, Vinaphone, etc.

Last time, I checked you need to put an eSIM on a credit card. With a regular SIM you can pay and recharge in cash.

Is there a Viettel official store at SGN airport?

There is a small Viettel kiosk in the arrival area that is an official store, in addition to a dozen or so independence sellers in the same area.
