Ubud hotel?
Hi all, I've been to Bali once and split my stay between independent hotels in Ubud and Candidasa. This time looking to split between Ubud and Amankila. For Ubud, I have stayed at Payogan in a two-bedroom suite before with a private plunge pool with a nice view atop a valley. Does anyone have any other recommendations for pool villas with view in Ubud? These are the days we'll be doing a lot of sight seeing around the island, so don't really need a top notch hotel. Hopefully <$150/night. Thanks!

I haven't been yet - but I booked a villa with pool at Visesa Ubud for $130/night in February (https://www.visesaubud.com/)
The view here is of the rice fields or jungle canopy depending on your villa location.
I can't vouch for it since I haven't stayed yet, but at $130/night I felt like it was worth taking the risk. People on Tripadvisor seem pretty happy with it.

The private pool suites in 11 on Kajeng have a nice view, but the regular pool there is also pretty fabulous, in spite of a very limited view. I would absolutely stay there again, with or without the pool suite. The property is quite small, so you would likely have the main pool to yourself, regardless. I also seriously considered the Visesa, but I have no regrets with my decision.

At airbnb you can find guesthouse private rooms under $30. We rented a room at the Santosha Place and the view from there is mesmerizing. Tirta Asri Ubud villa ($70 per night) looks amazing but you yourself can find whatever you want at airbnb
