Bali Tour Recommandations

Hello everyone,

I am planning a trip to Bali and would like some insight regarding the tour I have scheduled, if it seems not efficient or if you have better recommendations, please tell me

I will be :
in Ubud from the 16th to the 19th of September
in Seminiak from the 19h to the 23th of September
in Nusa Dua from the 23h to the 1st of October

We took a very nice hotel in Ubud and would like to enjoy it so we did not planned to many visits far from Ubud for the time we will spend there.

- September 19, leaving Ubud arround 12.30pm to Tampaksiring/Puri Tirta Empul then Pura Ulun Danu Batur then back to Ubud to take our luggage that we will leave at the hotel (not really confident leaving it with the taxi as someone may robbed our luggage from him) and then back to Seminyak.
We anticipated 6h but our contact told u s it will be 7-9h.

- September 20, half day we will leave from Seminyak around 12.30pm to Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, Jatiluwih Rice field, Pura Taman Ayung and then back to Seminyak.
We anticipated a half day but our contact told u s it will be 8-10h

- September 22, Full day tour. We would like to see Pura Besakih, Pura Pasaran Agung, Tirta Gangga, Pura Lempuyang and maybe the Rice terrace next to it.

Does it seem to complicated and feasible ? Do you think the time we anticipated is relevant or we should stick to the contact estimation ?

Many thanks for you rhelp

Traffic can make many roads very slow in Bali, trips that took 2 hours a decade ago often take 4 hours now ... so I would go with your contact's time estimates.

Take your luggage with you.

Most drivers will remain with their cars while you explore the temples etc.

That way your luggage will be safe

Enjoy Bali its a beautiful island.

Just be aware that once visited it becomes addictive

Hahahaha that is true. I have been here 4 times but only with my parents, so I never planned anything.

I am in the middle of my trip and everything went perfectly. We took our luggage with us.

Thanks

I would highly suggest getting in contact with Made (pronounced Maddie) if you need a tour guide if he isn't already fully booked. If you tell him the things you want to see and the amount of time you have available he is amazing at making itineraries. He is a local who speaks English very well, knows the local culture and history, and he is also very sweet and extremely funny. I think we've referred a few FT'ers and at least 7 friends to him.

He does airport transfers as well. He also knows better alternatives if you want to go to places that lack large groups of tourists.

Thank you very much for your contact. Hopefully there are a lot of great people on this small Island and I found a top guide, but I will keep your contact for my next visit
