Need Phnom Penh Advice

Mrs. Spinmeister and I will be finishing a trip in Siem Reap (spending three days there) and then have four days before we have to be in Hong Kong. For those who know Cambodia, how much time should be given over to Phnon Penh? Anything else doable before getting leaving for Hong Kong?

Phnom Penh for 4 days is masochism. Where are you departing from (PNH or REP)?

Possible places would be Battambong, Kompot/Kep or, if you like a more hyped touristy locale, Sihanoukville.

Phnom Penh is great for a few days, but you might also want to try this: 4 Rivers

Indeed, except the irony is that local politicos who might be drinking in the Elephant Bar are likely to be exKhmer Rouge cadres who are now filthy rich from their cushy gov positions.

Caro, Spins!
If you are traveling in the next weeks - be aware that it is Khmer New Year. The hotel I'm runing in Kep is just about complete for that entire week. If you are interested in Kep (very sleepy paradise) I can help.
