Just spent the weekend in Danang. Very easy to get in and out....airport not far from the beach. Very nice, clean well organized city. Great beach. Hoi An definitely worth a trip. Viet Jet is the cheapest option. I think you can get RT from SGN for about $80 if you book in advance. I did RT in F on VN last minute booking for $280, which still seemed very reasonable.

Prices have gone up quite a bit. I think I paid around $200 for business class last time I flew with Vietnam Air. And when I used to do it, they were flying 777's and A330's in there. Looks like they only fly the A321 now.

Yep. 321, but a lot of flights....16 a day. I guess prices have gone up a bit. If you book early, I think you can get it for about $225. And you're right, it is business class (U.S. domestic F equivalent....but a lot better service). Y is anywhere from $100 to $175 RT. Stayed in a $24/night room almost on the beach. Very decent weekend break from HCMC or Hanoi and very easy..... relatively cool this past Sunday so I walked from Tan Son Nhat back to the city.
