Transportation between Phonsavan and LP

Upcoming trip with the parents and, while there are flights between VTE-XKH, there is nothing between XKH-LPQ.

I'm not looking to have them suffer the ride on a bus ex-Phonsavan. I've done it before and would again, but it's not their thing.

That said, does anyone have info, to arrange ahead of time, a mini-van between these two destinations?

TIA

I did this trip with a mini van last year in the other direction. When you arrive in Phonsavan, just visit several local travel agencies and ask for the price. But, clearly, visit several and make your choice after. In LP, I had everything in price from $100 to $1500 (no, I'm not joking). We took the cheapest of course and had a very recent and comfy van and a very nice and careful driver. We were so happy with him and the car that we kept him for 2 extra days, to drive us around the jar plain and to drive us to Vang Vieng.
So, no need to arrange this in advance, just do it when you arrive in Phonsavan.

When are they traveling? There were flights on Lao Airlines between XKH and LPQ two years ago, in December. Maybe they are seasonal? Could be they will start up again after the rainy season. IIRC, they were only once a week, or twice a week at best.

There are currently no flights between XKH-LPQ. Thought I laid that out in my OP.
