On Wednesday night we're arriving in Singapore around 11:45PM and are flying out around 9:45am on Thursday on a different ticket. (Flying in United, flying out AirAsia.

We're not looking forward to crashing at the airport overnight, even though we're going to be on Seattle time.

What are the options? I know there's a transit hotel in the airport, but our bags will be checked to Singapore and not to our final destination, and I've heard the transit hotel is in the secure part of the airport and we wouldn't be able to pick up and recheck our bags.

Any thoughts on our options? Pass through immigration, pick up bags, recheck in and go to transit hotel?

I know there's a nice crowne plaza at the airport, but I think we'd rather save the $$ if the transit hotel is decent enough.

Any other options?
