QC is known for its bad traffic during rush hour.

Just to follow up on our experience through MNL last week. We ended up changing our flights around to arrive on the UA morning flight and booked a separate ticket on TG. We were able to get our bags tagged all the the way through. Upon arrival, met with a very light immigration line. They did not look at the QR code, assume it is like BKK in that as long as you have done it right, they don’t need to as your info is in the system. We then got a shower and breakfast at the Belmont hotel which is an easy walk from T3 once you know what you are doing. The hotel breakfast is not that great though but it served its purpose.

It got interesting when we headed basic to the airport. First, apparently you need a printed boarding pass for them to stamp upon exit emigration. Luckily we’re able to dig one up relatively quickly. Then the security line was absolutely frightening looking. It moved very quickly though, I think it only ended up taking us 15 minutes. This was about 11AM. As we entered the terminal though, got a WhatsApp call from a Philippines number. I couldn’t pick it up but then got a text. They said our bags were being held until they could locate us. Went to the gate and the agent took all our details and seemed to indicate were were good but our bags never moved. I texted and called the person back and never got a response but the bags did get on the plane just before doors closing according to air tags.

We are overnighting on our way back this coming weekend, should be more straight forward. Although I don’t understand the egovPH thing. Got a message yesterday that my account was not approved but we already got our QR codes etc for our trip last week. Not sure how that thing works to be honest.
