Landside meetup at DPS

Landside meetup at DPS
Hello all, is there any sort of bar or store landside at DPS that is a logical link up location. I have a friend coming in to DPS and looking to meet them at the airport. I am trying to look for something landside so I can tell him to just wait there and I will find him (my friend will not have a working cell phone)

I assume you are asking about the International section.
As you exit the Arrival's Customs and Immigration to the right are the taxis and hotels. Turn left and there are 3 eateries, gift shops and coffee between this exit and the entry to the Departures. I have never taken any notice of their names, but they are in a confined small area. I should be in DPS this week, if I remember (sometimes you can have good intentions, then bolt for the carpark on arrival) I shall get a name for you.

There is a McDonalds there (as described above), and all the drivers go there (it is considered to be a treat, they take home that food for their kids), that is probably the surest meeting point, no chance of confusion.
