Sleeping in SGN

I checked sleepinginginairports.com but the latest report I found was from 2006. (Maybe I searched wrong.)

Can anyone with fairly recent experience tell me if it's possible to stay overnight in SGN?

My flight leaves at 6 a.m. so I thought I'd just try to get there the evening before.

There are numerous threads on this...

The Ambassador Transit Hotel is quite nice for a short stay. http://www.singaporeairporthotel.com...-transit-hotel

There is also a Crowne Plaza Hotel that is very good at Treminal 3. If its in the budget, stay there..

op is asking info on saigon, yhere are not any hotels connected to the airport, in fact the terminal is quite small. There are numerous accomidations a short taxi ride away. Make sure you do not need a visa

You should just stay in town. At 4:30am, you're 20 minutes to the airport max. No reason to show up the night before.

Yes, I was specifically asking about the airport in SGN.

I'm staying with a Couchsurfing host for a few nights before and I was hoping to sleep in the airport that night so as not to wake her on my way out.

There's no way in heck a Crowne hotel would be in the budget, even if I was in SIN. I'm an outgoing Peace Corps volunteer with next to no money. Hence the whole sleeping-in-airport question.

Good to know about the food court being open, thank you!

The foodcourt mentioned above is at SIN, not SGN.

Shouldn't this thread be in Budget Travel?
