If you can post here you must be able to look on a site like trip advisor or another similar one.

Stayed there 2 years ago. Rooms are OK, nice staff, central location. But nothing special.

I'm in Luang Prabang right now. 3 Nagas looks nice enough. I chose Le Bel Air for much less than what 3 Nagas charges. It's a very comfortable resort...not 5*, but new and clean in a nice location on the river just over the Old Bridge.

I, and I think a lot of people don't trust trip advisor because so often people who are affiliated with the hotels are writing the reviews. At FT, I get to know posters and those who have similar tastes to mine and so trust their opinions far more. FlyerTalk is a perfect place to ask this question.

To the OP, you may want to look at Villa Santi as well. I stayed at the resort portion, and while a short ride from town, it was nice and relaxing.

Which is why when reading review from a site like trip advisor et al you should stick with the negative reviews. Sometimes they're only peeved customers and sometimes they have a legitimate gripe. However more is gathered from an unhappy customer (and their review) than a happy one.

To the OP: Here are a few threads on FT that discuss 3 Nagas.
