Just did a taste test and it's less intense in DdL (since it's been diluted) than the straight DdL from the same manufacturer. Taste as if someone has put mashed/pureed bananas in the DdL.

The traditional plain old Dulce de Leche is the best... the others are either too rich or too fussy. Plus you dont find the new flavours in the cakes in the bakeries - says it all...!

Noticed that there's no flavours of DdL other than traditional in the supermercados we visited (Carrefour, Changomas/Walmart and some others). So I will have to enjoy the bana one that's sold up way up north.

What does one do with the 1 Kg cardboard-wrapped DdL? I bought one made in Campo Quijano (outside Salta) because we passed through there. We don't quite eat that much of the stuff!
