Quote: I'd like to see at least ONE nonstop flight from the US West Coast to Argentina (eg, LAX-EZE). At present, there's not a single one. We have to connect through Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Mexico City, or various Central American cities.
I agree a LAX-EZE is long overdue.

At least there's LAX/SCL, and the EZE tag is an easy connection. SFO is really screwed. There is no service to South America. I keep hoping for at least a LAN SFO/LIM/Somewhere routing eventually. (Un)fortunately, they ordered a bunch of 787s for their expansion, which will arrive at some point eventually but who knows when.

Quote: Spoke to a friend that is senior management at LAN Argentina, and they are thinking of expanding capacity from EZE to USA... lets hope the regulators allow them to do so.
Guess it's old news but I did notice a 4M EZE-MIA flight on the weekend.
