Check in time for AEP to IGR

Hi Everyone. I am wondering how early I will have to get to the airport for a 1140am LAN flight from AEP to IGR.

I have to check out of my apartment that morning and was wondering how close I can cut it.

Also, anything I need to know about the airport experience there at AEP? Have never used it before.

AEP is a very nice little airport and works pretty well. Really depends on the day and if it is around a holiday when you are going. If just a regular day then arriving by 10 am should be plenty of time for you, if a heavy travel period then give yourself an extra half hour.

I'm interested in this question, also. So, for an 11:40 flight, you recommend arriving at the airport by 10:00? That's over an hour and a half. Is that correct? Thanks.

Used AEP earlier this year, the check in area was a zoo, not enough desks open, loads of chaos and frustrated pax. This was a Sunday morning, no particular holiday or anything.

The downstairs check in area looks long overdue a modernisation and IIRC there was some works going on, but once through security it was a nice, modern airport.

Yes that is my recommendation. And yes Sunday is one of those normally very busy days at AEP.

When would you arrive for a 7 AM Saturday morning business class flight to MVD (Aerolineas)?

No lounge, right (there didn't seem to be one when I flew Aerolineas to USH in 2005)?

Thanks!

To those that wondered my flight will be on Thursday Sept 4.

We'll have 1 bag each and no more we hope. But it is making me think we should have scheduled the falls at the beginning of the trip.

I flew earlier this year from AEP to Bariloche on LAN. It was a tuesday morning and I arrive 2 hours earlier. Way too much time. Took me 10 minutes to check in, 5 minutes to go upstairs and another 5 to go through security. LAN personnel is very pleasant and helpful, the airport is small, clean, a couple of coffee shops upstairs and some shopping beyond security.
I think arriving 1 to 1.5 hours earlier is plenty. I believe that the best luxury in travel is TIME and plenty of it.
