e-tickets on Argentinian Airlines?

Seeking advice...I will be on vacation in Argentina in January. I have bought internal flight tickets with Argentinian Airlines through expedia.ca. On purchase, I was told they would be e-tickets. Now, several days later, I noticed that a note had appeared on my expedia itinerary saying paper tickets would be couriered to me. I have checked with Expedia customer support who insist that it is an e-ticket and the message about paper tickets is "in error", but it is still there.

Argentinian travel gurus - does AR use e-tickets? For flights booked with 3rd party booking engines? I don't relish a conversation at AEP at the check-in counter on a Saturday with me insisting I should have an e-ticket and AR insisting I should have a paper ticket - especially if my printed receipt says paper ticket.

AR has debited my credit card, which I guess is a good thing.

Thanks for advice

FWIW I also have an upcoming trip on AR that I purchased from here in the US. I made the reservations on their Web site but then they called me and we did the credit card transaction via phone.

I also never received paper tickets and instead have a confirmation code and printed itinerary. I also have proof on my credit card that the charge was made.

So ... if nothing else you are in the same boat as me ... but as I am still a few weeks before my trip don't know definitively yet whether this is correct!

montrealer, I just wanted to close the loop on this one. I just got back from my trip and it was no problem with the e-ticket, in fact they did not even ask for the confirmation code; we just handed over our passports at the check-in desk and they pulled up our reservation.

Enjoy your trip, we did!

Just back, was the same for us. A nonissue. After all the dire warnings, of 3 flights, one was on time, the rest 30-60 mins delayed. Fine by me.
