EZE connection time

I am flying from Ushuaia USH to Buenos Aires and back to the U.S. in early February. I am being told that due to frequent flight delays on domestic flights that I should plan to overnight in BA before taking the international flight home. My preference is to just continue on.

These are the flights I'm considering:
AR 1892 USH-EZE 06FEB 13:33 - 16:58
DL 110 EZE-ATL 06FEB 21:15 - 05:35

Note: there is NO airport change involved. There are 4 hours between the flights.

Is this sufficient time to allow for claiming my bags and checking in on time for the international flight?

If there are no delays (or even one up to 2 hours), you should have ample time even though a terminal change is required (both are within walking distance). As long as DL will reaccommodate you and you don't mind arriving a day late, you're o.k.

It is good advice to spend the night in BA. 4 hours is plenty of time to change planes PROVIDED your flight actually gets there at within 2-3 hours of intl flight. The advice that many flights are delayed is accurate. Since your flights aren't on DL all the way but AR to DL DL will not accommodate you without penalty and provided there is space avail on the next day. Feb flights tend to be fairly full.

I have to agree with NYTango.... while in theory your connection is legal, DL and AR are in no way connected (not even in some alliance together), so if you get unlucky, you will have issues.... unless you are an elite flyer with DL and are sure you can "pull rank" with them and get you taken care of, its best to plan a night in Buenos Aires.

Thanks for your help. Although this connection is listed as valid on kayak, I've decided it isn't worth the stress and will spend a night in BA.
