Early (4:20am) Flight from EZE - Thoughts?
I just snagged one of the ridiculously cheap fares on LAN to EZE from MEX with connections in LIM/SCL.
My return flight departs EZE at 4:20am.
Having never experienced something like that, I was wondering if anyone had thoughts on what the best plan of action would be.
I'm a bit reluctant to take a hotel for another night as I'd probably check-out around 1am. My usual hotel (InterContinental) generally gives me pretty late check-out (4pm+) so I will probably do that and wander a bit, have a late dinner.
How early should one plan on arriving EZE for such a flight?
Will the LAN lounge be open?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I've had the grand joy of taking that flight twice (EZE/LIM/SFO).
Lounge opens at 0230. Arriving at 0200 is plenty of time. The Y check-in has not appeared bad, although I've only been in the J line, and checked in w/in 5 minutes of airport arrival. Migraciones y security have been extremely rapid. Unless something unusual has occurred, your trip to EZE will be 30 minutes.
I generally have a bite, perhaps take a nap, finish cleaning up my place, shower, and head to EZE.
If I was a hotel-staying person, I'd probably keep the room for a pre-departure shower and decent bathroom facilities, and a secure place for all my belongings.

Thanks - good info. I didn't realize the LAN club opened so early/late to accomodate this flight.
I'm still debating on the second hotel night.
Maybe I'll be a true Porteno and just go to a very late dinner before heading to the airport

The AmEx lounge might be 24/7 if you have access.
Also, the *A lounge now belongs to PP. Check its hours if you have PP.

This sounds like a great idea.
Does anyone know how early I can check in with LAN for the flight? Or, alternatively, how late the prior evening?

They've been there when I get there (twice, just about 2am), but it looks like it is near the beginning of their shift (based upon a conversation with a check in agent - i.e., I asked if it was the beginning or end of her day), so I'd expect the counter is closed until no earlier than 3 hours prior to this flight.
