EZE in the early AM

Any experience here with crowds, exit formality times, etc? I've never previously had an international departure from EZE in the 8AM hour.

I'd be interested as well as I have a flight leaving at 6am on G3 during my upcoming trip...worried I may have to get up extremely early if it's busy.

EZE is almost always far better early AM than late PM because you avoid the USA flight zoo situations.... downside may be that most of the salones basura will be closed. All in all, it will be a wash... unless of course you cough up the $$$ and get a AA2000 VIP Pass.....

I've never been that early but I'm pretty sure it'll be a breeze.

The purchase of such a pass is among life's least likely purchases. I would not turn a gift one down, however.

Taxi arrived early, so we were here at about 545a. The airport is busy, but not crazy busy. LAN J checkin - first in line, but we had a short wait. One security lane open; took about 2 minutes. Migraciones - took about 2 minutes. The new LAN lounge? Yes, you read it here first. Go to the LAN forum for more details. There is also a new *A lounge - signage is up, but I dont think it is yet open.

It is so shocking that it was worth a reference (as opposed to posting the exact thing twice).

Tell me you aren't shocked!

What is the lounge situation at EZE at the moment? There seems to have been a lot of changes going on recently. Is IB still using the same lounge?

As of September, they had moved to a temporary spot. I really didn't pay attention this morning because I was focused on trying to find the LAN lounge, which is two days old.

It's great to see improvements on the lounge front....they were sorely needed.
If only they would bring back the smoking room.

I've found myself recently having to use the 6h30 EZE-LIM TACA flight on several occasions, and each time I am surprised at how busy EZE is that early in the morning. However, it is manageable as Eastbay1k stated above. Every other airport I've been to at that hour tends to be dead, yet EZE is humming along.
