Groupon Buenos Aires

Any experiences good/bad/indifferent? It seems like such a foreign concept but hopefully it catches on and they are accepted without issue.

It works great, but you quickly get coupon overload. There are well over 20 coupon sites in Buenos Aires now - Groupon, Agrupate, Pez Urbano, ClubCupon, etc. I think all of them require a national credit card too.

I like that they added Groupon Shopping. We've bought a few household items from them, but as for coupons, we only buy when they deliver or it's near us.

Try these coupon aggregator sites too - Cuponica and Oony. They make it all a bit easier.

We'll be there for a week starting Dec 26. Is it useful for tourists? We sure don't mind saving money.

It can be useful but almost all the sites only work with an Argentine credit card.

Ahhh... that would be a problem. Oh well, I guess we will just continue to aid the Argentinian economy.

None that I'm aware of, and Groupon (at least US) participates in Mileage Plus shopping - I don't know if it participates with other airlines' shopping programs.

A slight bump.

I saw a deal on groupon for a flight and hotel to buenos aires from brazil. i'm not sure where is the flight from though. Any insight on that?

http://www.groupon.com.br/ofertas/ho...agens/10005103

Has anyone used that?

Thanks!

Thanks! This destroys my plan of visiting Buenos Aires from Rio, it looks like, since flights are about 800 reais round trip.
