Visa for Business?

I'm a US Citizen planning to travel to BA in early April for a one-week business meeting. According to the US Department's website:
A valid passport is required for U.S. citizens to enter Argentina. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for visits of up to 90 days for tourism or business.
However, the Argentinan consulate website reads:
Nationals of the following countries do not require visas to visit Argentina for tourism or family visit for a period not exceeding 90 days or for transit
I'm planning to call the Argentinan consulate later this afternoon but I was wondering if anyone in this forum has had a recent experience. Is the consulate website wrong or do people claim to be tourists when they go for a business meeting?

You do not need a Visa for any kind of visit if its less than 90 days. You will however have to pay an on arrival reciprocity fee to enter Argentina, which is approx US$142 (US Dollars).

Thank you for your response.

I tried calling them up but they don't seem to answer their phones. However, I did find this in the Chicago consulate's website.

Yes.... just make sure you dont confuse the actual Visa requirement with the recirprocity fee to enter the country. If you will use a US passport to enter, you will have to pay the fee.
