Post Museums in Buenos Aires - master thread

I think it would be useful to concentrate most info. and comments on the various museums in town in one thread. To all the board regulars, please assist me in posting information and comments to make sure this thread remains current & updated.

Here are links to websites with good information on exhibits, locations and hours of operation:

(please note some of these are commercial tour sites, I have no affiliation, etc.) - some sites are only in Spanish, my apologies for this.

The MAMBA just reopened (there still is a lot if work to do, and it is only partially complete). It is a pleasant space, and is currently only AR$1 to get in, unless you want to enter a raffle. Av. San Juan a couple blocks up from Paseo Colon. (San Telmo)

I visited and liked it too. This weekend I'll be in B. aires with a friend (his first visit), I wanted to show this museum but I think we'll be short of time for a day trip to La Plata.

Is the Buenos Aires Natural Sciences museum good like the La Plata one? Is it worth it?

I like this one:

The furnishings are fabulous and it lets you see how the really rich lived in BA in the first half of the last century.

The other similar experience is the Palacio San Martin which is still the formal space of the Foreign Affairs Ministry which is open at times for tours. They are sometimes published in the BA Herald.
