Yes! Maybe he meant Andes airlines ??
Can't find any mention on the Andes website of the direct BRC-MDZ service which is supposed to be starting in June. A few news articles have mentioned the service will be marketed jointly by Aerolineas and Andes and operated by the latter.

Looks like it will be Bariloche-Mendoza-Salta-Iguazu and vice versa, starting August 18.
