Post Premium Car Service from/to EZE

I want to give FTers the heads up about the best premium car service company in Buenos Aires. The company is called Silver Star, and is owned by a US Citizen that lives here in Buenos Aires.

He drives a Lincoln Town Car and is very knowledgeable about the city… obviously speaks perfect English and offers an all around excellent service. Pricing is very fair considering the vehicle and the quality service offered.

This may not be an option for everybody visiting Buenos Aires, but for anybody that has a flexible budget and/or wants to have a true English Speaking driver waiting in EZE this is an excellent way to begin your visit to Argentina.

For the sake of disclosure, I have no affiliation to this company, Im just a very happy customer… I use Silver Star to shuttle my VIP clients to and from my store, and have also used the service for personal trips on various occasions.

For further details, please see Silver Star’s website…

Thumbs up Thumbs Up for Silver Star Transport

Based upon Gaucho 100k's recommendations we went ahead and scheduled an afternoon pickup with Silver Star. We unfortunately couldn't give them the requested 48hr advance notice, but Fred (owner) was very quick to respond and accommodating to our needs.

Karina (his wife) picked us up the next day and took us around town for a tour. She was a wonderful tour guide taking us to some interesting points of interest and again, very accommodating to what we needed to do. She brought us bottles of water for the afternoon drive and even shared her chocolate bar with us that she'd bought from a street vendor.

We highly recommend this service and will be telling all of our work colleagues who travel to this area to use this service, it's just too easy and too good to pass up.

We are in no way affiliated with Gaucho 100k or Silver Star Transport.

Silverstar was wonderful. Carina met me at my hotel in BA was as friendly as humanly possible.

Fred and Carina really care about their customers.

A great service.

My wife and I used Fred and Karina for our recent trip to Buenos Aires, and I echo all of the previous recommendations. Fred was waiting for us at the arrivals area at EZE, even though our flight was early. He offered us a free loaner cell phone (we just paid for the minutes) and offered to exchange money for us at the going rate so we didn't have to deal with the money changers at EZE. On our drive into town he offered a number of useful tips on things to do and see during our visit. When we arrived at our apartment, the rental agent was late and Fred waited for 20 minutes until he showed up so we didn't have to sit on the sidewalk with our luggage. Karina picked us up to take us back to EZE at the end of our stay, and we received the same excellent service. If you're looking for a classy, reliable, premium car service in Buenos Aires, you won't go wrong with Fred and Karina at Silver Star. www.silverstarcar.com

I can also vouch for the quality and reliability of Fred's Silver Star Car Service. I own a business in Buenos Aires, travel frequently between the EZE and other cities where I own businesses, and often have guest coming to EZE to visit me. I have used Fred's service numerous times and have been satisfied on every occasion.

Hello Rock Harders... welcome to the Argentina Forums (and to FT). I hope you stick around these forums as we can always use another 'local' to help answering questions and helping with out of town visitors....

Cheers,
Alex / Gaucho100K

I know this thread is a little old but is anyone having trouble accessing Silver Stars website? Everytime i click on it my browser (Chrome) throws a big hissy claiming it's infected with Malware. Also tried it with my wifes mac and safari did the same.

Maybe Gaucho100k you could drop them an email and let them know?

Hi Gaucho, I managed to find a contact email through Tripadvisor and let Fred know what I found. I've also sent him over some basic diagnostic details which will hopefully help.

I'm also quizzing him about transfers & city tours.

Anywho Fred said he's on the case about the website issue and is talking to his website developer so it'll hopefully be all sorted out soon.
