if you're going to base the purchase if airline tix on this info, best to contact quark directly.
i'm cruising with gap, and they recommend flights after 12 noon, even though they dock the night before.
thats fine with me, think only one flight daily from USH to the international EZE. I didn't want to bother with schleping around from domestic Newbery AEP to international EZE, so got tix from USH directly to EZE.

Agree that you contact Quark. On my trip, we arrived into Ushuaia early in the morning - we were already docked when we got up for breakfast. I had enough time to spend the morning wandering around Ushuaia for last minute souvenirs before heading for the airport. There's a place at the dock that held our luggage until we were ready to go.
I'd definitely leave some buffer time - you never know what's going to happen on the Drake passage. I had the Drake lake on the way over, but my trip back was rather "exciting".

Ships returning tend to dock between 6am and 8am, they come in back to back as they have to wait for pilots at the start of the beagle channel. The operator will organise that passengers on the 9.45 flight (or the other just after when thre are two) disembark in time to board a transfer direct to the airport.

we had poor fools who booked the 9:55am departure and the whole lot of taiwanese tourists missed their flight! not only were we late getting in b/c of weather but then we managed to hit a container ship whil trying to parallel park! that meant an embarassing retreat and cruise through the strait again for take 2! we didn't get off the boat until around 10am!!
