crediting already credited miles
Hi,
I was wondering, would UA credit me for miles on a *A flight taken within the past year, if I had already had them credited them to my AN account (as a result my miles are not in existence anymore), or would they say that the miles had already been credited?
Thanks
goodo

I would say you are out of luck as they will say that they have already been credited - the airline you flew paid Ansett for the points credited to your account and therefore would not be happy to pay United as well. Sorry - you can try it anyway but I doubt it would work.

It's a bit late now to be considering this, and a little obvious.
I submitted boarding passes to UA in early October (after my return home and the AN collapse) and received credit for travel on SQ in July.
It was not obvious, as I joined UA mileage plus in June, and travelled RTW in July that was luckily all credited to MP.
