Administrators deny Tesna consortium looking for discount
Ansett's administrators have denied a report that the Tesna consortium is trying to reduce the price of the airline.

The Australian newspaper has reported that Melbourne businessmen Lindsay Fox and Solomon Lew are trying to "screw down" the price of the airline by $27 million, or 10 per cent.

Administrator Mark Korda says there is no substance to the report.

He has issued a statement saying that at all times, Mr Fox and Mr Lew have demonstrated their commitment to reviving Ansett and concluding the sale deal as soon as possible.

The deadline for completion of the sale is tomorrow week.
