any problem getting off a stop early?

I'm booking a family member from DC to Wilmington, DE on a regular NE Regional. I see there's a promo code for 20% off to PHL, which would work out cheaper than the 10% discount I can find to Wilmington. Any reason not to book the cheaper fare to PHL? I'll check to make sure the train stops in Wilmington (I think they all do).

Thanks.

Another variation on this is booking on one of the LD trains to Florida from a point north of Washington, D.C. on the NEC to Alexandria, VA, and then getting off at Washington Union Station. This allows one to enjoy the finer dining offered aboard said trains.

thanks everyone. I'll now remember to creatively use the codes. I like to put people on Amtrak, but it often doesn't make financial sense compared to the automobile. I need the best discounts I can find!
