What's the difference.....

Between the Silver Star & the Silver Meteor - besides time schedule?

The main difference is that the Silver Meteor bypasses Tampa, while the Silver Star stops there. Also the Silver Star travels on a different route of tracks on the west side for a portion of the trip, before making a swtich back to the east route. The Silver meteor stays completely on the east side, because it bypasses Tampa. Hope that makes sense lol.

They also takes different routes through the Carolinas, in addition to what RRtycoon mentioned. Otherwise the services and car types are the same.
