Do I have to ride to get points?
I booked a $6 trip simply to extend the expiration of my points. I am at the station and printed my ticket. Can I go home now or do I have to ride?

Yes -- just like airline loyalty programs require you take the flight, and hotel loyalty programs require you complete the stay.
