Handicap Roomette Award

AGR agent says a handicap roomette is now 20K points not 15K like before.

Is she jiving me?

I would certainly hope not as that would leave Amtrak in violation of the ADA once again. I suspect that you got someone who confused the family room with the H room, as the family room is 20,000.

I'd call back and speak with a different agent and failing that, ask for a supervisor.

Handicapped roomette? Can such things be?

Surely we're talking about the standard handicapped sleeper compartment?

The term is Accessible Bedroom (designated as room H).
