Where is the detailed information on this program?
For a new comer to AGR it is hard to figure out how things work. Say I travel regularly between Ann Arbor, MI and Chicago, IL on the Wolverine:

How many points are needed to get a one way or round trip ticket? As far as I can tell, it is not possible to figure this out on either the AGR website or amtrak.com when having 0 points. I'm trying to determine if transferring 30,000 points from Continental is worth it thus the question when having 0 points.
Thanks!

Welcome to FlyerTalk!
Even when I'm not logged in, I can see the info on http://www.amtrakguestrewards.com/redeem...but it's not particularly obvious.
The Wolverine is considered a "Special Route," so a one-way coach trip is 1,000 points, and a one-way business-class trip is 1,500 points. (That's true of any two endpoints on the route.)

Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for. I could see those offers but not how to figure out what type of route the Wolverine was on and if it crossed multiple zones. Is it possible to see these things on the website?
