You will be charged in full at the point-of-sale and your savings will automatically be credited to your statement within 5 days after you spend $40 or more 2 times from November 18 through December 18, 2008.

I called Am Ex and it's ok, although my Gold card isn't eligible. It's only for the co-branded AE cards.
I got nervous when I couldn't find the offer on the site and anytime someone asks you for all info on your card, I get a little jumpy. Christmas time = phishing time.

Then they can cut peoples credit lines and tell them, thanks for using your AMEX card, thanks for your business, but bad cardmember, you are shopping at the wrong businesses? Doubt it.
