Centurion Benefits - Peninsula New York, Any experiences?

I was wondering if anybody had been at the Peninsula New York on the Centurion Program, on the Centurion Website it says that you get one dinner free excluding drinks etc.

I would be in particular interested with regard to the value of the dinner, is it a fixed menu or a maxiumum credit which will be applied against your check. Thanks a lot

seems like its usually a dollar amount. a platinum could also post what they got, as it seems like centurion is usually double platinum's dollar amount.

Well I stayed last year when the additional perk was something else, but overall if you have a short stay (and I just stayed a Saturday night) this is a great value. You essentially pay rack rate, but then get free breakfast for 2 (and we had room service), the 6pm checkout, 2 50 minute spa treatments (that's worth about $250-$300 alone), the confirmed upgrade, and now the dinner.

Wonderful hotel - although they have gutted the pool and now made it penthouse units.
