Just cancelled AmEx Premium Rental Protection.
Just some notes for the archives...
My reason for cancelling was that "I didn't need it anymore," as I my personal car insurance will cover all rentals in the US. I basically only used it for coverage on a recent European rental (saved quite a bit on a 7-day rental). Of course he countered with benefits of only paying $25 per rental for their coverage vs. paying a deductible on my own, etc etc. Nope, still want to cancel. His final plea was would I be in keeping it at $19.95/rental? No thanks. So, for those currently enrolled....possible you could get a little better rate
