Quote: Has anyone who purchased the Gen 3 received reimbursement? I purchased mine September 18 and the meter hasn't yet moved. I see the comments upthread about Amex being declined, but I made my purchase before that apparently became an issue.
Are you still waiting for the credit to post?

Quote: Has anyone been able to use the 15% off referral codes (which drops the Oura 4 down to $296 AND get the $200 AMEX discount to apply and credit? I might bite on that one as a trial. The referral offer also has 2 months free of the sub, or I think $59 a year for the upgraded subscription..
I used the Lululemon link to get the $40 off on the Oura 4 and I got my credit back from Amex.

Yes, still waiting.

According to a discussion on Reddit, it appears that people whose transactions show "OURARINGCOM PP" have not received the credit. There was a different two letter code instead of PP for transactions that have been credited. This is true in my case.

A LuLu credit or an Oura credit? Isn't it better to use the LuLu credit for LuLu stuff and the Oura credit for Oura?

OP got a $40 discount on their Oura ring by signing up for Lulu membership and then got $200 Oura credit from Amex after the charge posted. This is separate from the $75 Lululemon credit they can get quarterly for purchases directly with LL.

You can then get 100% reimbursement for the total amount paid via a FSA/HSA plan.

I also used my HSA and got reimbursed for the discounted Oura 4. Getting $300 cash back for the ring is a useful thing if you have HSA funds to burn.

Quote: Has anyone bought the Stelo monitor on the Oura site? I think it should get reimbursed and thought someone tried but I cant find it now. (It also requires a subscription) Thanks

No dice. And as mentioned by jsandler, the Stelo purchase shows as OURARINGCOM PP

HSA funds are your money there's no reason to burn them.

Quote: Thanks for pointing that out. Lululemon has a similar deal but it is a flat $40.00. I think the Oura Ring 4 is $349.00 before tax, so the Lululemon deal may be better than 10%
I used Paypal last night and split the charges between 2 Plats:

$200.00 and $126.00

As of now, both charges are PENDING and I am still waiting to see if my order will actually be processed, but I'll report back.

I completely agree, but I figured it was the most inefficient way to earn 326 MR points, and it would make a good white elephant gift for this years holiday party.

any update on the credit ?

Quote: Im not going to buy one of these, but I will say that the technology is pretty amazing. I wore an Oura ring as part of a clinical study back in 2021. How a little ring can measure so many things, and can analyze your sleep cycles, is beyond my understanding.
From what I've read and been told by someone I know who works in sleep medicine, Oura is very good at detecting when you are asleep and is generally accurate to within 15 minutes of a full polysomnography study. However, I've been told to basically ignore the breakdown of sleep stages because that is muddled with noise. I'm not sure if he considers that to be true of the latest generation ring or if he was operating on data from older models.

I decided to return my unopened ring. Last week, I I went to https://returns.narvar.com/ouraring/...s?locale=en_US , printed a free Fed Ex return label and dropped it off Friday. It arrived yesterday and I am waiting for the return and credits to be issued.
