Caesar Palace resort fee as Diamond member on THC rate?
I am a Caesar Diamond and am planning to book Caesar Palace with AMEX plat for THC. I know resort fee is free for Diamond members, but not sure if booking through THC would trigger. Anyone knows? Thanks!

I am 99% sure, Caesars only waives resort fees if you are a Diamond and book directly through them. However, it may be a case of YMMV. I am a Diamond by virtue of my status match from Wyndham. However, you may have a stronger case if you are an organic Diamond member through your casino play and spend. Good Luck.

No resort fees on any hotel stay5
5Where applicable. Valid for one room per stay per Diamond or Seven Stars member. Resort Fees are not automatically assessed for Diamond or Seven Stars members, but such packages may be purchased upon request with Reservations or Front Desk Agent. The amenities covered by resort fees will vary by location. Please ask Reservations or Front Desk for more details.
They did not exclude third party booking. Seems like depending on front desk. This is why I am asking for DPs here.

It's going to be YMMV situation. Even though CR site doesn't specifically state it, most if not all hotel programs don't offer elite benefits when booked through 3rd party. Below is the excerpt I see a lot on other gaming forums when contacting CR.
"Thank you for contacting xxxxx Las Vegas! We appreciate your interest in our resort fees. If booking through a third party, resort fees will still apply because it won't be under the Caesars Entertainment Rewards Program. Resort fees are not charged to Diamond and Seven Stars customers when booking through Caesars Entertainment as it is a benefit you get with your Caesars Rewards."
You can probably just bring it up when they assess you the RF and state you're diamond and see what they say. If they give you any push back, can always say the CR site states that "No RF on ANY hotel stay".
