Delta co-branded cards $50/$100 Appreciation Credits
Did anyone else receive an unsolicited DL Amex Reserve $100 appreciation credit on December 1? I did not call in and request any compensation - it just appeared. Perhaps Amex realizes that the annual fee increase from $450 to $550 was extremely ill-timed??

It was announced. They emailed announcement about a $100 credit upon renewal awhile ago (May 5th in my case). The subject was "Important news about your Skymiles Reserve Card".

Today I received an email from Amex telling me
”As an appreciation for your loyalty, we’re giving you a $50 one-time statement credit. This will automatically appear on your account statement as an ‘Appreciation Credit’.”
That’s on my Delta Plat that just had its $250 AF post. I was going to talk to them this week about a retention credit or downgrade to Delta Blue since the card at this point is completely useless to me. Still planning to contact them. The $50 credit isn’t going to cut it.

I also received 15K miles for paying the $195 AF on my DL Platinum , when I spoke to the agent and told him I was going to cancel the card he mentioned the $50 and I said no, he then offered me 15K miles, I thought it was $50 or 15K miles but both showed up this week.
I see people mentioning a $250 AF but my AF was only $195
