I still have my airline credit on Amex Hilton Aspire for this year. If I were to book an award ticket for travel in July 2021 and then use my airline credit to book E+, what will happen if I cancel the trip? Will I get a refund or travel credit for the seat upgrade? Thank you for your help.

I chose my airline on 10/21 and made a $100 travel bank deposit immediately after. The meter hasn't moved and I haven't received a credit - the only thing I can think of is that it was too soon after I chose the airline. Am I just SOL?

Can Travel Bank credit be used for another passenger, or is it only tied to the MileagePlus user's name? (I made it to the end of the checkout page and it did show the travel bank as a payment option for a guest passenger -- however I'm not sure if it errors out on checkout.

Also, it doesn't look like there is a downside to pushing multiple incidental fees into the same MileagePlus Travel Bank?

Yes you can use it for another passenger.

Thanks for all the datapoints, good to read of all the Travel Bank successes. Sounds a lot less complicated than the Pet Fee ;) process and don’t have to give up an exit row seat.

Maybe UA will offer another bonus around Xmas and New Year’s as a gift to those of us who like to get this credit in early January. (And maybe pigs start flying :eek:.)

I made a single purchase and it was under: "UNITED AIRLINES HOUSTON TX" w/ additional information as "Special Service Ticket / Flight from CHICAGO O'HARE INT on November 4 / PASSENGER ___/TRAVEL BANK CA"

I just received an email from United stating that my $25 bonus to my travel bank account is now available for use through March 2021. I originally purchased $250 of which $200 was refunded by Amex
