It does. I have tested it. But presume if you don’t provide a SSN within 30-days they will kill the card and remove, and/or not post the 5K points.

Question, Do AUs for the Hilton AMEX post on uses credit report?

Yes, they report AU’s.

It did work, but the shut the card off a few weeks later. Called up and they said that I had not provided user info as required. They said they could send a new card if I provided all of the info including SSN and DOB. But they said I would no longer get the bonus. So I dropped it. YMMV
