HH/SPG Gold and National Car Rental Status Question
Great info. I'm considering the same move in the next few months as my Amex Plat Personal expires in May. How does the status in HH, SPG and the car rental companies become affected when cancelling Personal Plat and opening Buz Plat?

So I checked online and it seems there's no way to transfer or consolidate the MR points. So I called AMEX and they will process it within about a week.

Note that while this concept is applicable to Membership Rewards in Canada, there is no similar process for Membership Rewards USA because multiple cards normally feed the same MR account.
