No problems with chat....in fact, just used it to report a different problem.
Made a payment to one of my cards yesterday. Received the "we've received your payment" email and saw the banner at the top of the account indicating that payment was received. Today, the balance has not updated nor has the payment posted. That's abnormal, IME, as the payment normally posts and the balance adjusts overnight following the day of payment. Chat rep opined it was a "technical issue". |

Note that security settings can block chat, because the service is hosted on another site. Scroll back for (dated) discussion of some specifics.

I actually just tried Safari on the same Mac, and it seems to work there.

Today I had to configure Chrome (v85) to allow "Insecure Content" to use the Chat function.

Interestingly it now seems to work on Safari/iPad, without errors. My recollection is that the feature wasn’t there at all when I last checked earlier this year?

Is chat still working? There's no way to click on the live chat link in my account. Searching it as keyword or topic just returns a blank page, and it doesn't appear in Account Home. I'm using Ubuntu and it doesn't work in Firefox, Opera, Chrome in regular or incognito session.

I was having the same issue and then tried opening an incognito browser session--chat was there when I did

Not able to get chat option to show in any browser nor the mobile app... On desktop, it briefly starts to load then disappears. I've tried multiple browsers in incog mode with all addblocking disabled...

Has chat been down? Tried the last couple days and could never get the “chat button” to click on?
