Just got these two on my business Plat. Didn't get any of these on my other personal cards. Need some office equipment and a new laptop too coincidentally.i also have the "additional point" at Lowes attached to the card too ( that one came across all my MR cards ). 2x points and 10% back at Lowes...time for some gift cards. Business Plat is getting a little more useful.

Does the wording "on eligible purchases online at Dell.com/amex" mean I wouldn't be able to go through a portal?

Just signed up for Mobil SpeedPass+ app and added my Amex on there -- got the "thank you for using Amex at EXXONMOBIL CAT OUTSIDE" confirmation email on pending $1 charge (offer terms mention SP is fine)

12.7% back on SimplyCash (10% promo credit + 3% reg c/b on remaining amount)
10 cent/gallon discount for using SP until July 10
1 Plenti point/gallon until July 10
2% back using Dosh app until July 10

Staples will come out to 14.5% back on SimplyCash (10% promo credit + 5% reg c/b on remaining amount)

You can use a portal -- Amex Offers just depend on the retailer billing

That link goes to "dell.com/en-us/work/shop" so it'll depend on how Dell processes the charge from there

I haven't kept up with Dell so don't know if they have different retailer names when they process the charge ("DELL HOME" or "DELL BUSINESS" or "DELL OUTLET") or if they process everything under the DELL name

I also got this offer for KLM and AF. Does Flyertalk allow people to connect?

Last time I used Lowe's offer for $50 $10 off or 1000 points, I also had 1 extra point added to my cards. $10/1000 points posted, but no 1 extra point. What gives?

Could it be that the 2X MR kind of offers are subject to the same delays (~2mo) as regular MR earnings? However, the fixed amount MR offers (like the Amazon 2,000 MR) posted almost immediately.

I was getting it previously with staples and Lenovo promotions.

MGM Resorts just popped up again for me. $60 off $300 (Everyday), or 6000 MR off $300 (Plat), expires 8/30/18.

Good timing, I have an upcoming trip

if amextravel does not say it excludes FHR like last time, it might include it this time

i have noticed many offer terms vary, for the same offer, when they are repeated

also just saw more than 100 offers available, so that is good news

I've never seen one. FHR rate is typically the hotel's best available (standard) rate.

i dont use OTAs, but wont amextravel et al simply charge in advance, rather than actually booking a specific rate at hotel?

FHR includes many chain hotels (marriott, hyatt, IC, hilton) and others where prepaid rates are not unusual

It has been reported that the Amex Travel (USA) site simply does not offer non-FHR rates at FHR properties:

Possible to book non-FHR rate for FHR hotel ?

This avoids the problem of a person expecting FHR benefits when book a non-qualifing rate through Amex Travel.

good point re FHR rates

previous terms of same offer specifically excluded FHR, i would think without such exclusion that FHR would now work

there are companies that will handle hotel bookings and charge in advance, no matter what hotel is, in terms of prepaying when it has nothing to do with whether hotel offers different rates, but as i said i cant compare this to general OTAs

I would certainly be interested in hearing if anyone has success booking an FHR rate through amextravel.com.
