I booked a ticket with points and paid $18 of taxes using my AMEX Plat Personal. It got refunded

I had the taxes/fees on an international award reservation credited three days later. The transaction was labeled "Additional Collection."

I am a newcomer here. I aleady have a delta flight ticket puchased, I was not knowing about the split payment technique untill now.Purhased a $50 GC but didn't work. Is there is any way I can change the payment method on the current ticket and use GC +Amex Platinum to recover $200 annual benefit. |
