Centurion card titanium vs plastic.

I assume all Centurion members received both the titanium and plastic card.

Which do you use on a daily basis?

Do you find that the titanium card doesn't work well in some cases with certain payment terminals, gas station pumps or other scenarios where the plastic version is better?

I've got a friend who carries both in his wallet. I laugh every time.

Titanium only. I did issue myself an additional Platinum card that I use, though.

I use the plastic for personal spend and the titanium for company spend. I did enquire about having the AC issued as titanium and was told that it would cost £650. A month later they screwed up issuing a new set of cards and issued I think a total of 5 titanium cards.

My primary supplementary has a titanium. This brings me childish pleasure in referring to him in mails to my RM as my "titsupp".

In Argentina we get the Titanium Centurion and a plastic Platinum with Centurion numbers (and benefits) as a "stealth" centurion card, I guess for security reasons?. I only use the titanium card when I travel abroad.

So what do you do when you need to pay for your parking at Trader Joe's? Resort to a card without status?

Titanium only.
In Japan, we have 3 Centurion cards. Primary and AC cards are plastic, TC is Titanium.
In my personal opinion, I don't need a plastic card.

thanks,

Titanium! Sometime take the plastic one out if the day's going to get messy.

The titanium one has a habit of crashing the tills in Maplins (UK store similar to Radio Shack). Ha ha it's funny watching the cashiers scratching their heads etc., then calling over the manager to reboot the till. I, of course, feign surprise

When the Centurion card was first introduced, there were reports of merchants thinking it was fake and refusing to accept it, perhaps because they had never seen one. So AmEx started offering the associated Platinum card as a free backup just in case....

I remember having some similar concerns when the Paltinum card first came out and I also kept my old basic green card for a long time.
