Platinum Entry to the Sakura Club at NRT
Last year while flying on CO coach from NRT to EWR, I insisted on entry into the Sakura Club (CO's contracted club at NRT) using my Platinum card. I was so insistent that the CO gate agent, though hesitant and unsure herself, gave me passes for the club. Later when I arrive the U.S., I called Amex, and to my surprise and embarrassment, the customer rep said the club wasn't on the list. Does anyone know the real scoop on this? I know the Sakura Lounge is not on the website list, but is entry officially allowed for Amex Plats if we are flying on Continental? Thanks.
