Italy on AMEX?
I've been stacking up the MR points for a while with my eye on going to Italy in a few years. My thought was to either use the points for airfare and lodging, or maybe a cruise around the coast.
Does anyone have any advice on trying to get to Italy on MR's?

You may also want to transfer AE points
to USAir, and then you can either fly USair
or if you also have AA account, you can combine points in USair and AA to fly either
airline or its partner.
There's a promotion (for 30,000 AA miles) going on now for AA using award ticket to go to Europe.
