Seems like the 4k are for those who have not fulfilled the min spending of $5k in 3 months.
I completed my $5k spending, I am not getting the additional bonus

Easy now, you nearly gave me a mini heart attack. We have 6 months for the $5K spend. Pulled up my screenshots to confirm.

We have two cards that haven't completed the spend requirement yet, and neither account received the 4k bonus.

I thought that the minimum spend had to be completed in 6 months. I guess it's fine if I miscalculated, but if I'm wrong, I want to stop putting my spend on this card.

I signed up for the 70k bonus the first round and got the extra 4k bonus.
My wife got the card on the second 70k round and she didn't receive the extra 4k yet.

Thats interesting. I also signed up the first time the offer came up and got the 4000 bonus. Maybe we can form a little hypothesis that the 4000 bonus is attached with the first application link that came to FT or SD. Has anyone received the bonus from the second application link?

my wife got in on the second go around of the 70k offer...she hasn't met the 5k in spending yet and got the 4000 miles deposited in her account.

I applied the second time around and all my points have already posted. I didn't receive an additional 4K bonus.

Me too. I also bought a ticket...that might be it?

Didn't notice the 4k until I saw this thread. This sign up is the gift that keeps on giving.

I don't think the ticket was it. I bought a refundable ticket around that date but did not do so for my wife's account. Both of us got the 4000 bonus. I'm really curious as to what it's for (not that I'm complaining).

Edit: To clarify, signed us both up for the first 70k offer.
Edit 2: I met the spend, she has not. My spend bonus posted this weekend and so did my $100 credit.

Did anybody receive a notice on the 4K bonus or did it just appear?
