Bought a $200 gift card on 12/30. Statement credit for $120 today. When I searched back through the year, I found an $80 credit that posted in February so all good. Nice that they give you the credit, even when you aren't thinking about it!

Same here, bought $200 worth of gift cards (1 transaction) on 12/30... but no statement credit yet. Searched my transactions but didn't have any travel credit.

My $100 egiftcard that was purchased on 1/2 was credited on 1/4.

I purchased another one today and will update when it gets refunded.

$200 GC purchased on 1/1 and credited on 1/4. Easy peasy

1/3 - Changed my airline choice online and received confirmation email from Amex a few minutes later.
1/3 - Purchased two $100 gcs which showed as one $200 transaction pending.
1/6 - Airline fee reimbursement credited

Second $100 egift card purchased on 1/5 was refunded on 1/8

No sweat at all with one $200 egift card. Charged 1/5, $200 credit showed up on 1/8

Credit posted on 1/9/2014 for the full $200.
