AA Recognition of IB OneWorld Status

Curious if anyone else has encountered this Spiderman meme: Partner is Iberia Gold (oneWorld Sapphire) but when booked on AA tickets, the status is reflected as oneWorld Ruby. Qualified with Iberia back in June and has had multiple segments on BA/IB reflected as oneWorld Sapphire. I called the EXP line to get AA to recognize the status, wrote to Customer Service via email and both said call Iberia. Called Iberia, and Iberia said call AA. Tried to access an AC in Miami on a domestic connection with the Iberia mobile wallet card as back up and were told that it was a "screen shot" and could not be accepted.

I recently cancelled the AA Citi Exec card, since I generally do not use lounges for domestic flights, and get lounge access for long-haul as an EXP/Emerald. And when flying together, we should get lounge access if desired owing to his oneWorld status. Why pay for AC membership or burn LP Rewards when access should be gratis...

Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.

Spiderman meme is so accurate. AA IT is awful, but IB is truly weapons grade bad.

Just a guess but maybe delete the number, wait a day, and reinput it?

Last night I was booking a summer trip in J on AA.

LIS-MAD-PHL-CLE

then

ABQ-DFW-MAD-LIS

Came in at $4,500 - hence all the bouncing around. But it would not go thru online. Called AA CSR and William out of MEX made a hell of an effort but anything connected to IB would not work as IB would not confirm seats. After an hour said to hell with it and went to bed. This morning booked LIS-PHL-CLE then ABQ-DFW-PHL-LIS in W but saving about 12 hours travel time total and $900.

This is a multiple itinerary/purchase issue. Since were in MIA for winter, about six or seven reservations now have had the same result.

To make matters worse, I cant even add the IB number to AA reservations on the AA site. The website reflects an error with the number.

Useless, I know, but dont have these problems using AF Gold with DL

I use the IB PNR to select seats, which displays on the AA app on the AA PNR. Same for BA.

that is some rough routing
