Baggage Allowance For Mulitple Classes

Hey everyone!
Question on baggage allowance that I'm hoping to get some help with. Our outbound ticket is First Class from BDL to MIA where we connect the same day to fly to SXM in Main Cabin. So when we check in, do we get 2 free bags? Or will they charge us baggage fees for the connecting flight that is Main Cabin? Never had a ticket with two fare classes Thanks so much!

You get the business allowance for both flights.

Since you booked a Business/First ticket, you will get to through-check two free checked bags per passenger. The fact that you are in Economy on the connecting flight is irrelevant.(AA still operates some aircraft which don't even have a First or Business Class cabin.)

Then you should only get two bags each, at 70 pounds per bag.

Thank you guv1976! I'll take that, 2 bags at 70 lbs!! Just bought a condo so extra weight to bring down some heavier items is fantastic! Thank you everyone!!
